Abstract
Currently the tourism industry is growing with a number of businesses in the tourism sector, one of them is the Travel Bureau. Especially religious tourism, namely Umrah. This development occurs especially in Pekanbaru City. PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru or better known as Smeva Holiday began to hold Umrah in 2015. From the data obtained, it is known that congregants at PT. Smevasindo Holiday in the last 3 years has indeed decreased but it is quite small so we know that there are still a lot of people really trust PT. Smevasindo Holiday is still high This research was conducted to study in depth about the Standard Operational Procedures that have been set by PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru in Handling Umrah, based on the theory namely the standard of Umrah services as mentioned by Azis and Kustini (2007: p. 22) are administrative services, accommodation guidance, transportation, health consumption, guidance and protection. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of observation and literature study as research instruments, interviews, conducted with the Director and head of the Umrah Division of PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru, then the congregation who have used the services of PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru on an Umrah trip. From the results of research and discussion with general the Standard Operational Procedures owned by PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru in handling Umrah PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru, which consists of several dimensions of Standard Operational Procedures for handling Umrah, including administrative services, accommodation guidance, transportation, health consumption, guidance and protection, after collecting the data obtained and analyzing it, it can be concluded that the Standard Operational Procedures owned by PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru in handling Umrah trips has met the standards set by government regulations and has been running well. Recommendations for PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru to keep maintaining the quality of its services, guidance and protection and keep maintaining standard operating procedures that are owned and made innovations in carrying out its Umrah travel services, expand cooperation, especially in the health sector, such as local accompanying doctors, and improve health services such as offering additional vaccines namely H1N1 so that the H1N1 vaccine document is obtained by the congregation and the congregation's health can be more guaranteed.
