Abstract

The author conducted this study aimed to determine the extent of the influence of reward (X) on the performance of trainees (Y) at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia. 5 star hotel located on Jl. MH. Thamrin no. 59, Central Jakarta under Accor Group. This research approach is quantitative research with associative research type. Questionnaires were distributed to 34 respondents, of which the respondents were trainees. This study uses the Statistical Page for the Social Science (SPSS) version 28 tool to process the data. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the regression coefficient value is 0.604. The coefficient of determination produces a percentage of the reward variable of 29.8% which affects the trainee performance variable at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia. While the other 70.2% were influenced by other factors which the authors did not analyze in depth. This result is reinforced by the results of the F test, the significance value is 0.001 and the Fcount is 13,594. The significance value is below 0.05 and Fcount is greater than Ftable 4.14. Thus, it can be concluded that the Reward variable (X) has a simultaneous influence on the Trainee Performance variable (Y). Key words : reward, trainee performance
