Abstract
The Covid-19 outbreak that rippled throughout the world which led governments at both regional and national levels to issue and implement policies involving travel bans, community lock-down, stay-at-home-orders or mandatory-quarantine, and other business-specific restraints to varying degrees. Given the situation, Governor of Jakarta declared a citywide status of Large-Scale Social Restriction (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) to prevent the possibility of the spreading Covid-19 which affected various sectors, specifically the tourism sector. Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy then attempted tourism recovery by developing Virtual Tour in which implemented by travel agents and a number of tourism destinations in Indonesia, including National Museum of Indonesia. This study aims to identify the performance of Virtual Tour in National Museum of Indonesia and to see whether it influences the tourists visit intention. Research method used in this study is quantitative as the opinions of tourists regarding the matter would be needed and analyzed with simple linear regression. Samples taken in this study are collected by using non-probability sampling from 150 tourists with previous experience of Virtual Tour in National Museum of Indonesia through questionnaire distribution. The data obtained will be analyzed by using Classical Assumption Test. The results of this study indicate that the Virtual Tour in National Museum of Indonesia is perceived useful, entertaining, and easy to use and Virtual Tour has influence on Visit Intention to National Museum of Indonesia.
